Intercultural Community Programmer
Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House builds community in the vibrant Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood of East Vancouver, located on the traditional, unceded and occupied territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. School Age Care Team Lead
Frog Hollow Neighbourhood Neighbourhood House

The School Age Care Team Lead will be responsible for the leadership, supervision, and administration of the Kids World school age program licensed for 76 spaces for children ages 5-12. This program drops off and picks up from three neighbourhood schools and this position will involve walking to these schools and/or driving if possible. Class 4 Driver’s license or ability to obtain will be an asset. This program fosters a positive, and emergent learning environment with a focus on the social and emotional well being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families and colleagues.

School Age Care Coordinator

Working under the general direction of the Program Director, the Program Coordinator 1 takes responsibility to plan, develop, organize, implement, deliver and evaluate school age care programs in conjunction with the other School Age Coordinator and Director. As a leadership role in the context of the neighbourhood house approach, the Program Coordinator 1 assists the Program Director and Executive Director in establishing policies and procedures regarding participant involvement, program requirements and outcome measurements.
